Battle of Greenford
Introduction
The Battle of Greenford (607 AS) saw the beginning of the meteoric military and political career of Magnus Munro, Earl of Valkonia. In this battle he defeated the forces of Henry Walton, Margrave of Sumaton, executing Henry and claiming the Margraviate for himself. Just as his Earldom was the stepping stone to the Margraviate, so did the Margrave title lead to the Duchy of Pentanglia, and that to his formation of the Grand Duchy of Keltenbard in 612 AS, while Magnus was still only 23.
